The power of the word, whether written or spoken, can’t be underestimated, as the above quote articulates well.

words. A carefully thought out slogan or logo can communicate to a potential voter the messaging a candidate wants you to associate with him or her. Done poorly, and it can devastate the best laid plans.

In public relations, the word is used to relay ideas and thoughts differently; and certainly, copywriting related, but very unique in and of itself.

To each mode of communication, a very idiosyncratic approach should be ascribed, yet each one equally respected and valued. To know the differences, varied approaches, nuanced mind-sets inherent in each, and put that in motion…that’s the joy.
